My experience of art and design has been a varied juxtaposing of many disciplines.
With positions held in photography/photomicrography, draughtsmanship, graphic- design and illustration.
Studying Graphic Design in England and USA I graduated with honours from Parsons School of Design in New York, with a postgraduate course in airbrushing and recently, an MA in Drawing from UAL Wimbledon.
I work within a conceptual/realism vein in painting, a linear style in life-studies and urban themes in photography. With a concentration towards portraiture, twice been shortlisted in the BP portrait awards .
I am an exhibiting artist with shows amoung many, the Menier Gallery,The East West Art Awards Pall Mall where recognised with best of category, Threadneedle Prize, The Society of British Artists both at the Mall Gallery, Dazed and Refused, The Arch Gallery Bethnal Green and Cork Street and the National Gallery London. Previous years, as well as Galleries in Guildford, I have shown in The National Open at Chichester and the Surrey Open at the Lightbox. Featured in SGFA's centenary book I am now increasing my international profile with participation in Eindhoven Art Festival.
In photography I have received, to date, eleven honourable mentions from the International Photography Awards Los Angeles, Moscow and Paris including a 3rd place, Other achiements in this field being, two finalist positions in the Photographer's Forum Magazine.
My close involvement in the art world has now expanded into curating, with the launch in December 2010 of “Gallery Eleven”, a contemporary residential showcase supporting new and established visionary talent.
I am now exploring three dimensional and an abstract direction within printmaking whilst still pursuing my airbrush painting technique and photography.
In 2020 my practice has moved to Studio 27 with exciting new works planned.
The latest selling platform being explored is 'Opensea' an NFT site for which I have recently made available digital and photographic works from my extensive archive.
